        HCL series typeConstant power electric heating beltIt is a new type of electric heat tracing product, which is characterized by a longer length compared to other electric heating belts. It is 5-12 times longer than the maximum length of a general constant power, self limiting electric heating belt. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for long-distance pipelines, large tanks, oil tanks, etc. in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, and ports for antifreeze, insulation, and heat tracing. When combined with other explosion-proof accessories, it can be used in Class II explosion-proof gas applications.

Example: HCL-A-660-three0-three000 represents a series constant power electric heating belt with a voltage of 660V, an A-type structure with a power of three0W per meter, and a total length of three000M.

HCL (Q) - B-three80-40-800 represents a reinforced series constant power electric heating belt with a voltage of three80V, a B-type structure, a power of 40W per meter, and a total length of 800M.

4. Working principle

        According to Joule's law, current continuously releases energy through a conductor, forming a continuous and uniformly heated electric heating belt.

5. Structural form

        The A-type structure is composed of three independent electric heating belts of the same power and length.

        The B-type structure is a combination of three insulated and parallel electric heating belts.

        The insulation sheath and outer insulation sheath of the HCL series constant power electric heating belt are both F46 or F4, and the heating element is a special heating device with a reinforced copper braided outer protective sheath and inner insulation sheath heating element.

6. Installation instructions

(1) When releasing an electric heating belt, it should not be dragged on the ground.

(2) When installing the electric heating belt, if it encounters sharp edges, the sharp edges must be polished or lined with aluminum tape to prevent the insulation layer from being scratched.

(3) The bending radius of the electric heating belt during bending installation should not be less than five times its thickness.

(4) Aluminum tape is used to paste the electric heating belt during installation, which not only increases the heat dissipation surface and facilitates heat conduction, but also facilitates installation. After installation, fix radially with adhesive tape every 50-80 centimeters.

(5) Series connected constant power electric heating belts are generally designed according to the actual length of the pipeline, so installation should strictly follow the design length. Excessive or insufficient length will affect power, so arbitrary cutting is not allowed.

(6) When installing a series electric heating belt, follow the Y wiring to avoid three-phase current errors, so grounding is required at the end.

(7) The electric heating control cabinet should have overload, short circuit, leakage protection and control devices to ensure the quality of use.

(8) If the electric heating belt is buried underground or surrounded by corrosive gases, a reinforced type should be used.
