电伴热带是一种新型的保温材料，已广泛用于管道、运输和其他设备的防冻和保温工作。电伴热带的功率和其型号、耐温等级也有着不同。如果温度超过电伴热胶带的轴承温度，则会影响其功能和结构。此时，它不仅不能防止管道防冻和保温，还可能损坏并需要更换。如何防止电热带被高温烧坏？
当电伴热带为高温高压介质的仪表管伴热时，仪表管表面温度在冲洗管道时会急剧升高，超过电伴热带的轴承温度，容易导致电伴热带烧坏。不要接触高温物体，严禁高温焊渣溅到电伴热带表面。如果在伴热管道和设备的工艺操作过程中需要接受高压蒸汽吹扫，可以在安装电伴热带之前冲洗并拆除管道，然后放置电伴热带，以避免高温烫伤皮带。因此，电伴热厂家再次表示：为了防止放置时电伴热带的表面温度过高，仪表管表面通常覆盖一层薄薄的隔热材料，以便仪表管可以与电伴热带分离；或在安装电伴热带时，将其与仪表管表面连接一定距离，以避免在冲洗管道时电伴热带与高温直接接触。
