化工厂冬季防冻防冷凝工作是保证安全生产的主要手段。为严格防止各种冻结和冷凝事故的发生，还应根据机组特点，按照“预防为主，消除为辅”的方针开展防冻和防冷凝工作。加强易冻易凝材料的收集、交付、使用和管理，按基本方法提前预防，按规定认真检查，合理处理冻结、堵塞问题，以达到确保安全生产的目的。
1、保温
保温是指用保温棉对设备、管道及其附件进行保温。在冬季之前，应将往年出现的问题结合起来。这项工作应该仔细检查和改进。特别要注意没有伴热且仅通过材料温度防冻的设备、管道端部、盲端和现场压力表的保温，以确保保温到位。
2、伴热。就冬季防冻而言，常用的伴热介质有热水伴热、蒸汽伴热和电伴热。热水伴热适用于工作温度不高或不能使用高温伴热介质的情况。蒸汽伴热一般用于管道内介质工作温度低于150℃时的伴热。电伴热带不仅适用于蒸汽伴热的各种工况，也适用于热敏介质管道。可有效控制温度，防止管道温度过热。适用于分散或远离供气点的管道或设备以及形状不规则的设备的伴热。
定期进行管道防冻检查，可以及时发现和处理防冻过程中的问题，减少设备的损耗，降低生产成本。
